The memorandum was signed by Skoda CEO Bernhard Maier, Volkswagen Group head Matthias Müller, and Tata Motors head Guenter Butschek.
Volkswagen entrusted the Czech brand with responsibility for long-term cooperation with the new Indian partners. It is expected that the first results of joint activities will become noticeable around 2019, and details of upcoming projects will be announced before the end of spring.
Recall that Tata Motors has included the British brands Jaguar and Land Rover for several years.
