Expectations were met: the compact crossover Audi showed the best result in tests. The Q2 earned almost maximum scores for passenger safety, with the only drawback being increased load on the driver's right leg.
The hybrid hatchback Hyundai Ioniq was very close to the leaders, but lost points in the full-width frontal impact. Nevertheless, this did not prevent the model from getting the highest five stars.
The Ford Edge crossover also received a five-star rating. It had comments on both frontal collision and side pole impact. The high final score is largely due to the excellent performance of additional electronic safety systems.
The Suzuki Ignis was tested in two trim levels — base and top. The simple version scored only three stars, showing weak protection in frontal impact with both partial and full overlap. In the top variant, additional points for electronic assistants allowed the model to reach five stars.
The SsangYong Tivoli crossover had similar results. The Korean model was also tested in two versions, but neither could get five stars. The base modification earned three stars, while the more equipped one added only one.
