The premiere of the new-generation CX-5 crossover took place in mid-November at an exhibition in Los Angeles. The car did not receive serious technical updates, and the main changes primarily affected the design.
Currently, production of the new CX-5 is organized only at the plant in Japan, but it has already been confirmed that next year the model will begin to be assembled at the Mazda Sollers enterprise in Vladivostok. The previous generation, in addition to Japan and Russia, was also produced in China, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
