Jaguar F-Pace won the annual Women's World Car of the Year 2016 competition. In addition, the model became the best in the category 'Best Women's Crossover'.

Jaguar F-Pace named Women's Car of the Year

The jury consisted of 17 female journalists specializing in automotive topics, representing 14 countries. Among the 32 finalists, winners were determined in six categories.

In addition to the Jaguar, laureates in their categories were:

Best budget model — Honda Jazz
Best family model — Honda Civic
Best sports car — Ford Mustang
Best premium model — Volvo XC90
Best eco-friendly car — Toyota Prius

This year, the organizers also introduced a new category — "Holly Rich's Dream Car," dedicated to the memory of a former jury member who passed away in October last year. The winner in this category was the McLaren 570S.
