The French company Venturi Automobiles, together with specialists from the Center for Automotive Research at Ohio State University, has created the electric car Venturi VBB-3.
The power plant of this prototype develops over 3000 horsepower. The official speed record that was recorded was just under 550 km/h, but during one of the runs, the three-and-a-half-ton car was able to reach the mark of 576 km/h.
According to the developers, the Venturi VBB-3 has not yet exhausted its capabilities, and in the future it will be able to exceed the speed of 700 km/h.
