The show is being prepared in partnership with Amazon Prime, where its premiere will take place. The first episode was filmed in Johannesburg, South Africa, and the project's creators promise that the studio segments of each episode will be recorded in different countries.
Along with the announcement of the exact premiere date, viewers were also shown a short teaser video of the first episode of The Grand Tour.
