As the blog Tire Meets Road writes, the incident occurred at the Schomp Subaru dealership in Aurora, Colorado. The incident happened back in mid-May, but the media only noticed it now.
The video shows that the thieves worked thoroughly – the red WRX STI is missing its wheels, brakes, and most interior parts, including the front and rear seats. Obviously, professionals were at work, and the whole operation took them little time.
According to rough estimates, the total value of the stolen parts from this WRX STI is about $25,000. But there is good news – the car was likely insured, so the dealer will be compensated for the losses.
