In September, Ukrainians registered 21,500 used passenger cars imported from abroad. This is 8% less than in September 2025. The most popular model was the Volkswagen Golf with a result of 954 cars. This is reported by Ukravtoprom.
Top 10 used cars from abroad in September 2026

Volkswagen took three positions in the top ten at once, and the ranking also included models from Audi, Skoda, Nissan, Renault and Tesla.

Volkswagen Passat - 409 cars
The first two positions in the ranking went to Volkswagen. The difference between the Volkswagen Golf and Volkswagen Tiguan was 147 cars. The Audi Q5 beat the Skoda Octavia by just three registrations.
Used cars with petrol engines took 52% of the market

Petrol cars accounted for 52% of September imports, compared to 45% a year earlier. The share of electric vehicles decreased from 29% to 18%, and diesel cars - from 18% to 16%.
Instead, hybrids increased their share from 5% to 11%. Cars with LPG accounted for 3% of registrations - the same as in September 2025.
The average age of used cars imported in September was 8.7 years.
