In August, Ukrainians purchased 6,500 used passenger cars under five years old imported from abroad. This is 31% of all 20,700 imported used cars for the month. This is reported by Ukravtoprom.

Among relatively fresh used cars, gasoline models received the largest share - 40%. Electric vehicles accounted for another 36% of August imports of cars in this age category.

Hybrids accounted for 19% of registrations, while diesel cars formed only 4%. The smallest share was held by cars with gas cylinder equipment - 1%.

Overall, cars under five years old made up almost a third of all August imports of used passenger cars.

The leaders among relatively new imported cars were Tesla electric vehicles. First place went to Tesla Model Y with 473 registrations, and second was Tesla Model 3 - 362 cars.

  3. Nissan Rogue - 265;

  4. Volkswagen Tiguan - 261;

  5. Mazda CX-5 - 211;

  6. Ford Escape - 189;

  9. Hyundai Ioniq 5 - 160;

  10. CHEVROLET Bolt - 124 units.

Thus, among the nine most popular models were both electric vehicles and crossovers with other types of powertrains.
