In August 2026, the Ukrainian car fleet was joined by more than 4.2 thousand electric vehicles. The most registrations were recorded in Lviv region, Kyiv and Kyiv region, and in all the leading regions, used cars predominated. This is reported by Ukravtoprom.
Rating of electric vehicles by regions of Ukraine in August 2026
The leader was Lviv region with 687 registered electric vehicles, 96% of which were used. In Kyiv, 356 cars were registered, and the share of used ones was 67%.
The top five regions with the largest number of registrations included:
Lviv region - 687 vehicles, 96% used;
Kyiv - 356 vehicles, 67%;
Kyiv region - 315 vehicles, 76%;
Dnipropetrovsk region - 266 vehicles, 85%;
Rivne region - 262 vehicles, 98%.
Most popular electric vehicle models in Ukraine by region
Among new electric vehicles, the BYD Sea Lion 06 EV became the leader in Lviv, Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions. In Kyiv, first place went to the ZEEKR 7X, and in Rivne region - to the Toyota bZ4X.
The distribution of leaders among used electric vehicles imported from abroad was different. The Tesla Model 3 became the most popular in Lviv region and in Kyiv.
The Tesla Model Y topped registrations of used electric vehicles in Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions. In Rivne region, first place in this segment went to the Nissan Leaf.
