Transport tax must be paid by owners of passenger cars, no more than five years have passed since the year of manufacture and the average market value of which exceeds 375 minimum wages, that is, more than 2.5 million hryvnias.
The press service of the State Tax Service of Ukraine reports this.
Every year, by February 1, the Ministry of Economy publishes on its official web resource a list of passenger cars that fall under the defined criteria. This list specifies the make, model, year of manufacture, engine cylinder displacement, and fuel type for each car.
The current list of taxable items for the current tax year has already been published on the Ministry of Economy's website. It includes 230 passenger car models.
