According to AUTO-Consulting, last year on the domestic used car market (i.e., resales), Ukrainians made 623 thousand purchase and sale transactions. For comparison, that is exactly how many new cars were sold in Ukraine in 2008. However, this figure turned out to be 26% lower than the level of 2021, when almost 850 thousand cars were purchased through resales.
Last year, Volkswagen cars were in the greatest demand among Ukrainians on the secondary market. The second position was taken by VAZ cars, which were leaders a year earlier. In third place, as before, is Skoda. The top five also included Toyota and Renault. BMW and Audi noticeably strengthened their positions — now they occupy 7th and 10th places, respectively, whereas previously they were in 12th and 13th. And the most sought-after model on the used car market last year was the Volkswagen Passat.
