According to the Ukrautoprom association, the production of passenger cars decreased the most. During the month, domestic enterprises produced 202 such vehicles — three times less than in the same period last year.
Production of commercial vehicles (excluding AutoKrAZ, which stopped publishing data on its operations since August 2016) amounted to 3 units, which is one vehicle less than in October 2020.
At the same time, despite the overall decline in the industry, bus production increased by almost 13%. In October, 87 such vehicles were manufactured. In total, from January to October 2021, the country assembled 7,002 vehicles — 85% more than in the same period last year. Of these, passenger cars — 6,337 units (+97%), commercial — 27 units (−25%), buses — 638 units (+17%).
