Experts analyzed 4 million insurance claims and checked the violation history of their owners. This made it possible to determine the share of drivers of cars of a particular brand who most often violate the speed limit.
It turned out that Alfa Romeo owners most often exceed the speed limit – 41.45% more often than the average. In second place is Subaru (20.38% more often), and in third – Volkswagen (17.77% more often).

The TOP-5 violating brands looks like this:
- Alfa Romeo – 41.45% more often than the average;
- Subaru – 20.38% more often;
- Volkswagen – 17.77% more often;
- Maserati – 16.20% more often;
- RAM – 15.74% more often.

Models most often caught speeding have also been identified. These are mainly hot and sports models:
- Subaru WRX – 20% more often than the average;
- Alfa Romeo Giulia – 16% more often;
- Volkswagen Golf GTI – 15.88% more often;
- Maserati Gran Turismo – 13.62% more often;
- RAM 1500 – 12.28% more often.
