TOP-5 most affordable new cars in Ukraine as of today

On the Ukrainian car market, used cars in the budget of about $10,000 are in high demand, however, for that money there is also an opportunity to buy a new car, which can be a good alternative to a used one.

The Autoportal website has selected the five cheapest new cars in Ukraine as of January 2021.

Lada Granta

The cheapest new car in Ukraine at the moment is the Lada Granta, which has been assembled at the Zaporizhzhia automobile plant since last year. For the car in the base configuration with an 87-horsepower engine, you will have to pay UAH 223,610. Another model of the Russian brand also fits into the budget – the Lada Vesta. It is available from UAH 303,202.

Ravon R2

The Ravon R2 holds the status of the cheapest car with an automatic transmission in Ukraine. For the city hatchback with a 1.25-liter engine producing 85 hp and a 4-speed gearbox, they ask UAH 288,200. An alternative to the R2 could be the Ravon R4 sedan, though it is slightly more expensive – from UAH 303,700. And even then, in this case, the car will come with a manual transmission. The version with an automatic transmission will cost at least UAH 336,900.

Renault Logan

The Renault Logan has been a popular budget sedan in Ukraine for many years. Currently, it can be purchased from UAH 356,400. For this money, the base version with a 1.0-liter engine producing 73 horsepower and a 5-speed manual transmission is offered. However, the Logan's closest relative – the Sandero hatchback – in the same configuration costs less: UAH 334,300.

FAW B30

An inexpensive Chinese sedan with attractive design and decent equipment (includes cruise control, parking sensors, rearview camera, eco-leather upholstery). The car comes in only one modification – with a 1.6-liter engine and automatic transmission. Such pleasure costs UAH 299,900.

Chery Tiggo 2

The only crossover on this list. Prices for the Tiggo 2 start from UAH 305,854. The buyer of the most affordable version can count on a 1.5-liter 106-horsepower engine, manual transmission, and front-wheel drive.
