The Model electric car manufactured in China is priced at 355,800 yuan ($50,000) excluding government subsidies. As for imported versions, their price reaches 439,000 yuan ($62,700). In the American market, this electric car will cost buyers $40,000.
Tesla began construction of its own enterprise in southern China in January of this year. This facility was named Gigafactory and became the first plant of the American brand outside the United States.
