The rating was topped by Los Angeles, where motorists lose an average of 104 hours a year in traffic jams. Moscow took second place with 91 hours, and New York closed the top three.
The top ten also included three US cities: San Francisco (83 hours), Atlanta (71) and Miami (65). Residents of London (73), Paris (65) and Bogota (80) also spend a lot of time in traffic jams.
It is noteworthy that in the overall ranking by country, neither the USA nor Russia managed to break into the top three, sharing fourth place with a result of 42 hours. Thailand turned out to be the most congested country, where drivers spend 61 hours a year in traffic jams. Indonesia and Colombia shared second place with 47 hours each.
In addition to them, the top ten countries with the most serious traffic jams included Venezuela, South Africa, Brazil, Puerto Rico and Turkey.
