In 2009, the "charged" modification of the Continental GT coupe debuted. It was produced in a limited edition until 2011. The model was offered in two body styles: two-door coupe and convertible.
The main differences from the standard GT version were a more powerful engine and a refined automatic transmission. It featured the "Quickshift" system, which halved gear shift times compared to the regular transmission.
