The Bentley Bentayga became the first crossover in the history of the British luxury brand. Development of the model started in 2010, and two years later, in 2012, a concept was presented at the Geneva Motor Show.
The Bentley EXP concept car received several technical innovations. In particular, the large side niches in the front bumper are used not only for daytime running lights but also for cooling the turbocharged engine.
The Bentayga model range includes a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged gasoline engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Also available are a 4.0-liter gasoline engine and a hybrid powertrain. Drive is rear or all-wheel drive.
