- Engage the handbrake and chock the wheels.
Work on a level surface and be sure to engage a gear. - Locate the point where the cable enters the sheath.
This is usually near the lever in the cabin or near the rear wheels. - Release the tension.
To do this, lower the lever or, if necessary, adjust the adjusting bolt. - Insert the can's tube into the rubber boot of the cable.
Spray the lubricant inside the sheath with short bursts, taking your time.
