Peugeot 107
The Peugeot 107 replaced the 106 model. The car was developed under the "B-Zero" program jointly with Citroen and Toyota. According to Peugeot's classification, the number "1" indicates the class (A-segment), and "7" indicates the generation. Thus, the 107 is the seventh generation of the brand's most compact car.
Work on the model began in 2004. The official presentation took place in 2005 at the Geneva Motor Show. From its "siblings" in the project — the Citroen C1 and Toyota Aygo — the Peugeot 107 differs only in exterior design, which was handled by specialist Donato Coco. The technical components are identical for all three cars.
Generations and facelifts
The model was produced in two body styles: three-door and five-door hatchback. The car was updated twice.
First facelift (2009): the model received a new bumper, different wheel rims, and an updated interior.
Second facelift (2011): the changes were more significant. The exterior was redesigned in the new corporate style, also used on the 208 and 507 models. The car gained a new hood, grille, front and rear bumpers, as well as LED daytime running lights.
Production of the model is carried out at the PSA Peugeot Citroen group's Czech plant in the city of Kolin. The updated Peugeot 107 began to be supplied to Ukraine in early 2012.
