The winner was the Volkswagen Passat of the eighth generation. The German sedan managed to significantly break away from its rivals. Thus, the Passat outpaced the Citroen C4 Cactus crossover by 92 points.
The remaining places were distributed as follows: third place went to the new Mercedes C-Class (221 points), fourth to Ford Mondeo (203 points), and fifth to Nissan Qashqai (160 points).
The competition for the title of best car involved 58 automotive journalists from 22 countries, including Ukraine.
