This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Starukh, during an investment forum. Recall that recently, a delegation of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration visited ZAZ and inspected the production facilities.
"Last year, our automobile plant did not produce a single car. But today the enterprise has begun to rapidly increase capacity. For example, in the last quarter alone, we sold 50 new buses to Poland. An agreement has also been signed with Renault, and by the end of the year we expect more than 10,000 new cars," said Oleksandr Starukh.

Recall that currently the enterprise assembles four Renault Group models. These are the crossover Renault Arkana, as well as three Lada models – Vesta, XRay and Largus (VAZ, as is known, is part of Renault Group). In addition, earlier they established production of two Kia models.
It should be noted that ZAZ's plans are quite ambitious. The fact is that, according to the Ukrautoprom association, in the four months of 2021 the enterprise assembled only 1,325 passenger cars and 33 buses.
