During the first three months of the current year, 16,956 registrations of new passenger cars were recorded on the Ukrainian car market. The leader in popularity was the KIA Sportage crossover — 881 buyers chose it. In all monthly ratings of this quarter, the model confidently held the first line, and demand for it constantly grew.
The second position was taken by the Renault Logan — from January to March, Ukrainians purchased 611 such cars. It is noteworthy that at the beginning of the year, the Logan occupied third place, but by February it had almost caught up with the leader.
The third most popular car was the compact crossover Renault Duster. In the first quarter, 509 registration numbers were issued for these cars.
The top ten best-selling models also included: Skoda Octavia — 477 units, Toyota Corolla — 460 units, Volkswagen Tiguan — 458 units, Ford Fiesta — 430 units, Hyundai Tucson — 412 units, Toyota RAV-4 — 344 units, and Nissan Qashqai — 331 units.
