More than 50,000 km of roads need serious repair. According to the Ministry of Infrastructure, this requires allocating from 500 billion to 1 trillion UAH. And it could take more than 10 years.
For comparison, this year 23.2 billion hryvnias were allocated for roads, 19 billion of which will go to repay previously taken loans. The remaining funds will only be enough for a third of what is needed, even if only pothole repair is carried out. There are no funds for major repairs at all. Therefore, in the coming years, Ukrainians should not hope for normal, let alone European, roads.
According to LIGABusinessInform, the TOP-10 worst roads in Ukraine looks as follows.
