There are already relevant agreements between the US Department of Justice and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. They were reached within the framework of the International Criminal Investigation Training Assistance Program (ICITAP).
The senior advisor of the ICITAP program is American Ron Glensor. He is a former police officer. To date, he has already visited Khmelnytskyi, where an experiment to merge the patrol service and the traffic police into a single unit has been launched. His task will include training the staff of the new service.
