From the first day of 2015, in Crimea and Sevastopol, which became part of Russia, motorists holding Ukrainian driver's licenses or certificates confirming their issuance, as well as a medical certificate, will be able to obtain a Russian-format license simply by showing these documents. A mandatory condition is the presence of a Russian citizen's passport with registration on the territory of the peninsula.

A similar procedure applies to vehicle registration. To process such documents, you will need to present a passport with registration, as well as vehicle registration papers issued before the annexation of Crimea to Russia. Additionally, you will need to confirm payment of the necessary fees, provide an OSAGO policy, and for companies — a certificate of legal entity registration.
