The interior of the NSX sports car was taken as the basis for the innovative "cockpit." The place of the instrument panel was taken by a 12-inch display, and next to it there is an equally impressive multimedia system screen.
The virtual instrument panel can display a 3D image of the surroundings, as if simulating a view through the windshield. This function is available in autopilot driving mode.
Multimedia should be controlled using the touchpad on the center console. To select any function, just touch a certain part of the panel, which also has "smartphone" buttons "back" and "home."
The Japanese have not yet announced when and on which models the new Precision Cockpit interior will debut.
