This company claims to be a strategic partner of Saleen and states that it has a stake in VL Automotive and partnerships with JAC to promote affordable electric vehicles. Plans include selling a Saleen refined by Tesla in China. Time will tell, but we will be interested to follow their further development.

The Saleen S7 presented in Beijing is a car of the old design school. It was originally produced from 2000 to 2004. Then there was a period of oblivion. And the reincarnation happened in 2013. The car received a powerful seven-liter engine from Ford with twin turbochargers, delivering 1060 hp. The torque is no less impressive – 1200 Nm. This huge torque is transmitted to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. The claimed top speed is 410 km/h. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds.

Starting this year, the Saleen S7 Super will be sold on the Chinese market. Currently, showrooms and a network of service stations are being built. According to our data, Saleen will have dealers in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Chengdu. Prices are not yet clear, but it is rumored that the car is preliminarily estimated at 4,500,000 yuan (approximately 720,000 USD). Not cheap? Well, this is one of the most powerful cars in the world.
