The Volkswagen I.D. Vizzion turned out to be already the fourth concept with the I.D. index, joining the I.D. hatchback, the I.D. Buzz minivan, and the I.D. Crozz crossover. The sedan differs from its "colleagues" not only in its three-box body but also in its impressive dimensions (5163x1947x1506 mm).

The I.D. Vizzion is equipped with an autopilot with the fifth level of autonomy, which made it possible to abandon any manual control elements in the cabin. The multimedia system is endowed with artificial intelligence, controlled by voice and gestures, and is also able to adapt to passengers by reading information from their fitness trackers.

In addition, the concept is equipped with "smart" LED optics HD Matrix, which can create images in front of the car and, for example, can "draw" a virtual zebra crossing in front of a pedestrian being let through.

The Volkswagen I.D. Vizzion is driven by a pair of electric motors with a total power of 306 hp. The all-wheel-drive sedan will need 6.3 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h, but the maximum speed is limited to a rather "modest" mark of 180 km/h. The electric car's range is 665 km.

The manufacturer plans to present the production version of the I.D. Vizzion concept in 2022.
