The model is disappearing from the European lineup for two reasons. The first is weak buyer interest, and the second is the desire to avoid unnecessary competition in the B-segment with the new generation Nissan Micra, which is expected in Europe in March.

Production of the Note at the plant in British Sunderland is expected to be wound down next spring. However, the car will not disappear completely: it will continue to be sold on the domestic market, as well as in the US, where supplies will be arranged from the Mexican plant.
