In total, over the past year, Toyota managed to sell 10.2 million of its cars. The company's pre-tax profit per car is 1.56 thousand euros, with a profitability of 8.8%.
The company achieved such impressive results against the backdrop of positive factors such as the weakening of the national currency (Yen) and the renewal of the Japanese car fleet. This is despite the fact that Toyota had to recall a record number of cars to fix possible issues.

The next two places in the ranking were taken by Chrysler and Volkswagen, respectively.
