The developers of the new service plan to organize it in such a way that the driver would not even think of disabling the reception of advertising messages. To this end, the system is configured to work exclusively with objects located near the route along which the motorist is traveling.

For example, the driver will be able to receive information about discounts in cafes and shops encountered along the way, about the availability of vacancies in hotels and campsites, as well as other useful information. For permanent Internet access, the BMW multimedia system has been equipped with a SIM card since July 2013, providing Internet access anywhere in the world. At the same time, the Bavarian company has taken on the roaming costs.

It is clear that the introduction of advertising into the car will give an impetus to the development of this technology, as it will make communication with the outside world free of charge for car owners. Currently, BMW owners have to pay a subscription fee for using a number of functions of the ConnectedDrive multimedia complex.
