This car, known for now as the New Concept Coupe (NCC), will only appear on the American market. You shouldn't expect it in Europe — the Scirocco is already there. The new coupe is noticeably larger than the Golf and Scirocco, which is quite logical, since the car was created specifically for the USA, where spaciousness is valued.
Moreover, there is currently a high demand for hybrids in America, so the NCC received exactly this powertrain: a 1.4-liter turbo engine with 150 hp and a torque of 200 N•m, complemented by an electric motor of 27 hp (or 20 kW). An interesting detail: the car can move on electricity alone, which significantly reduces fuel consumption. As a result, the coupe, accelerating to 227 km/h, consumes on average 4.2 liters of gasoline per hundred kilometers.
