The world premiere of this supercar took place at the Frankfurt Motor Show, joining two B1-bodied cars that were presented in mid-December last year and have already undergone tests at the Dmitrov test track.
As already mentioned, at the Frankfurt exhibition Marussia appeared with a new 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine, which was specially created for the Russian car by Cosworth. The power unit is planned to be offered in six power variants — from 245 to 420 horsepower, and it will be paired exclusively with a five-speed automatic transmission. In the future, any transmission desired by the buyer can be adapted to this engine.
Previously, a 3.5-liter "six" used in Renault and Nissan models was considered for Marussia. Such an engine could have several output options — from 240 to 298 horsepower.
According to available information, 15 prepaid orders have already been placed for the first Russian supercar, although there is no official data yet on the start of serial production. The estimated price of the Marussia is about 100,000 euros.
