Thanks to the use of a new body, engineers managed to reduce the car's weight compared to the standard Corvette by approximately 60 kilograms, down to 1,400 kilograms, and also achieve optimal weight distribution across the axles in a 50:50 ratio. The power of the six-liter (6.2 L) eight-cylinder Chevrolet Corvette engine, thanks to upgraded intake and exhaust systems, increased by 14 horsepower, reaching 450 horsepower, and peak torque rose to 602 Nm.
As the manufacturer assures, acceleration to 96 kilometers per hour for the new model will take four seconds, and the car will cover a quarter-mile distance in 12 seconds.
The production run of the SV 9 Competizione supercar will be 1,000 units. On the American market, the price of each car, including the base Chevrolet Corvette, is set at $99,995.
