The Volkswagen New Beetle convertible is painted pink over its entire surface, down to the engine compartment, and the car's interior is decorated with rhinestones. The Barbie-style car was presented by supermodel Heidi Klum at an event in Malibu. As the head of marketing for Volkswagen's American branch explained, the decision to release such a model is due to the fact that both the "Beetle" and the Barbie doll have left a notable mark on pop culture.
