The proportions and shapes of the new "Chinese" are deliberately related to the "German" (although they differ noticeably in size: 4666 x 1825 x 1483 mm for Chery versus 4495 x 1816 x 1425 mm for Audi). At the same time, the Xuandu looks rich: outside, the narrow elongated optics, a chrome radiator grille with a complex pattern, L-shaped daytime running lights, large air intakes in the bumper, and elongated rear lights stand out; inside, the multifunction steering wheel, an infotainment system with a large display, and a separate microclimate control unit (a regular air conditioner is installed, not climate control) attract attention.

The new Chery sedan has only one engine – a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 156 hp. This same engine, by the way, is installed on the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro crossover, which is sold, in particular, in Ukraine. The gearbox is a choice of a 5-speed manual or a CVT.

The main market for the Cowin Xuandu will be China – sales there will begin in the third quarter of this year. Prices are not yet known, but it is expected that the new product will cost no more than $8,000.

It should be noted that the Cowin brand was founded in 2014, but it began its broad market offensive in 2020.
