Like all Lynk & Co models, the crossover was created with the participation of Volvo specialists. It is based on the CMA platform, which is also used by the Volvo XC40 crossover.
The design of the Lynk & Co 05 is in the brand's typical style – with high-mounted headlights and a narrow radiator grille. The coupe-like roof is in the spirit of the BMW X4 and X6. In addition, the crossover received a body kit and a rear spoiler, and its front bumper turned out to be quite aggressive.
It is known that the new Chinese crossover will get a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 265 hp. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission from Aisin, and the drive will be exclusively all-wheel drive.
Sales of the Lynk & Co 05 will start at the end of the year. The price will be 250 thousand yuan or 38 thousand dollars. Lynk & Co plans to enter the European market.
