It should be noted that the new Sidus A01 is not entirely a Belarusian development. In fact, it is the Chinese budget electric car Lichi A01. Moreover, in China it is more than twice as cheap ($5000-5500) and is even sold via AliExpress.
Sidus A01 is a two-seat compact city car with a length of only 2250 mm, a width of 1400 mm and a height of 1600 mm. It weighs 620 kg. Interestingly, instead of a trunk, a mounted box is attached at the rear.
At the same time, the cabin has multimedia with a touchscreen, air conditioning and electric windows. The Sidus A01 is equipped with a 10.2-horsepower electric motor and, according to the passport, can reach 80 km/h (although in tests it could not reach even 75 km/h). A modest 9.2 kWh battery allows you to travel 120 km without recharging.
