Assembly of electric vehicles will be established at a plant in the Bulgarian city of Lovech. According to the plan, the Germans will invest 140 million euros in this enterprise, and the Bulgarian side - 34 million euros. About 1,000 people will work at the enterprise.

The start of e.Go Life production is announced for 2023. In total, the plant in Bulgaria plans to produce up to 20,000 electric hatchbacks per year.
It should be noted that the e.Go Life startup Next e.Go Mobile presented back in 2017. The new product is a city car with a length of 3345 mm, a width of 1747 mm, a height of 1588 mm and a wheelbase of 2,200 mm; it can accommodate two adults and two children. The hatchback is equipped with an electric motor with a power of 77 hp, accelerates to 50 km/h in 4.3 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 122 km/h. The car has two batteries to choose from – with a capacity of 14.4 kWh and 19.2 kWh; in the first case, the range is 130 km, in the second – 170 km. The weight of the “German” is just over 600 kg.

The success of the e.Go Life on the market should be ensured by the starting price – just under €16,000. Taking into account benefits in some European countries, the car will be available to buyers much cheaper: for example, in Germany its purchase will cost €12,000.
