Actually, the Elegend EL1 is an electric sports coupe whose exterior is inspired by the design of the Quattro. The car has a similar body shape and proportions, as well as design cues. However, in detail, it certainly differs from the original. Moreover, the newcomer has larger dimensions.

The body of the Elegend EL1 is made entirely of carbon fiber, so the car weighs little for an electric vehicle – 1680 kg. The newcomer is powered by three electric motors with a total output of 600 kW/816 hp, which allows for impressive dynamics – acceleration to 100 km/h takes 2.8 seconds, the 200 km/h mark is reached in 10 seconds, and the top speed is 255 km/h.

The electric car comes with a 90 kWh battery, which is enough for 400 km on the WLTP cycle.

The Elegend EL1 is a small-series project, developed not by Audi itself, but by a small German company Elegend AG (founded by designer and entrepreneur Markus Holzinger). In total, the Germans plan to produce 30 units of the model, 12 of which will be delivered to customers in 2023, and the remaining 18 in 2024. The price of the electric car is considerable – 1.06 million euros.
