The days when the hatchback and sedan Honda Civic differed in design are gone. The five-door version looks exactly like its four-door sibling from the front. In profile, the hatchback features a more sloping roof, and its taillights are connected by a glowing strip.

The base Honda Civic trim now includes adaptive cruise control, automatic braking, and lane-keeping assist systems.

Like the sedan, the five-door Honda Civic 2022 is offered with a 2.0-liter 160-horsepower naturally aspirated four-cylinder and a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 182 hp. Later, a 200-horsepower Si variant is also promised. By the way, unlike the four-door version, the hatchback can be chosen not only with a CVT but also with a 6-speed manual transmission.
