Of course, the increased dimensions will make the Suzuki Jimny Long more spacious and increase its trunk, but at the same time, the SUV will become significantly heavier. Therefore, a new engine is being prepared for it.

It is known that this will be a gasoline turbo engine with a mild hybrid system. Most likely, we are talking about the 1.4-liter 138-horsepower turbo four from the Suzuki Swift Sport.

It is also stated that the Suzuki Jimny Long will be about 300 thousand yen ($2750) more expensive than the three-door version. Production of the extended SUV will be established in Japan and India.
