Volkswagen ID.6 is a stretched modification of the electric crossover ID.4. Externally, the car repeats the streamlined style of its "younger" sibling, and in addition to the standard version, customers will be offered the ID.6 Crozz version, which features increased ground clearance and more aggressive plastic body cladding.

The overall length of the new product is 4876 mm, width — 1848 mm, height — 1680 mm. The wheelbase is 2965 mm, and the curb weight reaches 2280 kg. The electric car is based on the proprietary MEB platform, familiar from other models of the ID series.

The interior of the ID.6 largely repeats the cabin of the ID.4: it features a compact digital instrument panel and a large 12-inch touchscreen display. Depending on the trim level, the car is offered in six- or seven-seat configuration, with the second-row seats equipped with longitudinal adjustment.

The list of available equipment includes a panoramic roof, a head-up display with augmented reality, a level 2 autonomous driving system, as well as alloy wheels up to 21 inches in diameter.

The powertrain lineup includes rear-wheel-drive modifications with a single electric motor producing 170 or 204 horsepower, as well as an all-wheel-drive version with two motors delivering 305 hp. The flagship version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and can reach a top speed of 160 km/h.
For the electric car, traction batteries with capacities of 58 and 77 kWh are provided. The range according to the NEDC cycle is stated at 436 and 588 kilometers, respectively.
