As can be seen from the images, the new Nissan 400Z is almost identical in appearance to last year's Z Proto concept car (in the first photo). In profile, the car resembles its predecessor, the 370Z, while the front and rear are styled in the spirit of the iconic Datsun/Nissan 240Z coupe of 1969.

The two-seat Nissan sports car reaches 4382 mm in length, 1849 mm in width, and 1311 mm in height, meaning it differs little in size from its predecessor. The platform will be borrowed from the Infiniti Q60 coupe.

The interior of the Nissan 400Z has not yet been revealed, but it is unlikely to have significant differences from the Z Proto's interior. This means the coupe will get a virtual instrument cluster and a large touchscreen, with additional gauges mounted on top of the dashboard.

The car will be equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 producing 405 hp – borrowed from the top version of the Infiniti Q60. Most likely, a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed automatic transmission will be offered.
