Judging by the spy shots, the exterior of the new Mitsubishi Outlander will largely repeat the appearance of the Mitsubishi Engelberg Tourer concept car, presented in 2019. The design features a high hood line and narrow LED headlights.
As it became known, the Mitsubishi Outlander of the 2021 model year will be created on the basis of the platform from the Nissan X-Trail. Under the hood, a 2.5-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 188 horsepower will be placed, which will work in tandem with a CVT.
The range of engines will also retain a plug-in hybrid. It will likely receive the same power unit with 224 horsepower as the current version, but the electric range will be increased to 70 kilometers.
