Contrary to various assumptions, the new Toyota Land Cruiser 300 will indeed get a body-on-frame construction — this is already officially confirmed. The vehicle's dimensions have also become known: length will be 4970 mm, width — 1985 mm, height — 1870 mm, and wheelbase — 2970 mm.
Buyers will have access to versions with five and eight seats. The interior will feature a digital instrument panel, and the list of additional equipment will be expanded with fresh safety complexes. According to unconfirmed data, the price of the SUV may drop by 5000 dollars.
It is already known for sure that the naturally aspirated V8 will give way to a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 producing 420 horsepower. In addition, a 3.3-liter turbodiesel and a hybrid version are expected, which will combine a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter engine with 300 hp and an electric motor with 180 hp.
