The Polestar 1 with a plug-in hybrid powertrain became the first model that the brand produced independently. Previously, this division of the Swedish manufacturer was only engaged in refining Volvo cars. The car truly deserves attention. It is based on a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and three electric motors. Together they develop 608 horsepower and provide a torque of 1000 N·m.
The sports car accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, and its top speed reaches 250 km/h. On pure electric power, the car can cover up to 150 kilometers — this is the best result among all hybrids that can be charged from an outlet.
The production run of the Polestar 1 is limited to 1,500 units. The price of the car is 150 thousand euros, although some cars were offered via a leasing subscription. This model is not officially sold on the Ukrainian market.
