Suzuki has published prices for the Swace, a new station wagon based on the Toyota Corolla Touring Sports.
Following the Suzuki Across SUV based on the Toyota RAV4, which is already on sale, the Swace has appeared as the second model. It costs $36,000 in the SZ-T trim and $39,000 in the SZ5 trim.
Dual-zone automatic air conditioning, an 8.0-inch touchscreen, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, and smartphone compatibility are standard equipment, while parking assistance, front and rear sensors, blind spot monitoring, and a wireless smartphone charger are available in the more expensive version.

The exact delivery date has not yet been confirmed, but according to the manufacturers, the model launch will begin "in the near future".
A single powertrain has been confirmed: the 1.8-liter hybrid, also used in the Corolla, combines a four-cylinder gasoline engine with 97 hp and an electric motor with 71 hp, along with a CVT automatic transmission.
With the same output of 120 hp as the Corolla, the Swace takes 11.1 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km/h, and the top speed is 180 kilometers per hour.
Like the Corolla, the Swace has a special EV mode for emission-free driving, with the hybrid engine producing 99-115 g/km of CO2. The Swace will not get the more powerful 2.0-liter hybrid transmission of the Corolla.
The car has a strong external resemblance to the Corolla, but it has its own front end, which includes a distinctive grille that can be seen in other models of the Suzuki lineup.
